Description

Beggar Prince, also known as ‘Prince of Persia’ in China, is a role-playing game originally released for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in 1996. Developed by C&E, Inc. of Taiwan, the game was notable for being one of the few commercial RPG releases for the Sega Genesis during the late 1990s. It follows the story of a young prince who is stripped of his status and must journey through a kingdom facing turmoil to reclaim his throne. The game features traditional turn-based combat and a vast world to explore. It was re-released in English in 2006, becoming significant for being the first major game release for the Sega Genesis in over a decade at that time.
